Large electronics company located in the Hauppauge area is hiring for a Shipping and Receiving clerk for their warehouse operations. Candidates with prior experience with UPS and FEDEX programs are encouraged to ! Responsibilities

• Knowledge of UPS and FEDEX Shipping programs

• Inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.

• Verifying the contents of shipments against purchase orders or manifests.

• Recording received items in inventory management systems.

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Sorting and organizing received items for storage or distribution.

• Labeling items with appropriate identification or tracking information.

• Picking items from inventory based on sales orders or shipping requests.

• Packing items securely for transit, ensuring proper packaging materials are used.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 30lbs

• standing for 5 hours at one time

• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
