Position Overview:

• Location: Hastings, Nebraska
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
• Pay: $18-25/hour (DOE) + shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Operate and program CNC machines, focusing on 3-axis turning, 5-axis turning, and milling operations.
• Set up and maintain the Cincinnati Milacron lathe with live tooling on both ends.
• Follow detailed drawing documentation and blueprints with precision.
• Maintain tight tolerances within one-thousandth of an inch.
• Conduct quality control checks and perform daily machine maintenance.
• Work with various materials, including stainless steel and cast iron.
• Collaborate on technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision machining environment.
• Proficiency in G- and M- code programming.
• Strong understanding of machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret measuring devices such as scales, micrometers, indicators, and calipers.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in machining stainless steel and cast iron materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a technical focus.
• Ability to perform accurate machine shop math and calculations.
