REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 06/28/2024 - 11/01/2024. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day, Sat, 5 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 60 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen.

 JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.  Crops/Commodities: Radishes, lettuce, endive, escarole, parsley, spinach, greens, cilantro, onions, beets, zucchini, squash, beans, cabbage, eggplant, corn, tomatoes. Operation and Maintenance of Farm Equipment: Workers will operate tractors, planters, sprayers, cultivators and general tillage equipment. Workers will be expected to be able to operate equipment, with or without direction, in a manner that protects the operator, other employees, crops, trees, facilities and equipment. Failure to comply with operating and safety standards may result in termination. Workers will assist with the maintenance and repair of tractors and equipment. Vegetable Harvesting: Harvesters will pick produce as it ripens. Crops grown on the farm include radishes, lettuce, endive, escarole, parsley, spinach, greens, cilantro, onions, beets, zucchini, squash, beans, cabbage, eggplant, corn, and tomatoes. Different harvesting techniques will be utilized depending on the type of crop, but these are manual tasks. Workers must be able to keep up with work pace of balance of the harvest crew.
