Job summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team in Hartselle, AL. This role involves assembly and operation of vinyl and plastic extrusion machinery in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and use a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th of an inch, and a commitment to quality.

A tape measure test will be administered during the hiring process.

Shifts Available: 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7:30am

Responsibilities:

Operate machinery for vinyl and plastic extrusion parts production. Perform assembly tasks with precision and accuracy. Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols. Perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Be flexible to work occasional weekends as required.

*Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in assembly or extrusion manufacturing. Familiarity with quality control processes in a production environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to adjust to additional shifts as needed.

*Required Skills:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a machine operator or in a related role.

Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch. Ability to lift and carry. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. Availability to work 2nd shift (3 PM - 11:30 PM) or 3rd shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM).
