Basic Job Functions: SUMMARY: This position is the liaison between multiple business functions to control the accuracy of Inventory. This individual will be responsible for working with Supply Chain, Finance and Engineering to ensure accuracy. They will also assist in the analysis of cycle count adjustments to find the root cause of inaccurate inventory and assist in finding remedies to ensure best practice. Perform cycle counting using the Rytec cycle counting process to complete random counts of inventory in the warehouse and operations area. Operate forklift, hand truck or scissors lift to unload, count and replace material to specific stocking areas. Perform analysis of adjustments to determine root cause and work with Inventory Control Manager to find best practice to remedy the problem. Serve as a liaison between Purchasing and Accounts Payable to investigate inventory discrepancies and reporting details of errors to functional supervisors. Implement new organizational methods for the warehouse and operations area. Utilizing existing technology to maintain organization and investigate new technology when needed. Receive components from Germany both physically and in SAP. Performing labeling, separation, and determination of STO for shared components. Work with Engineering and Material Management to ensure proper disposition of obsolete material and coordinate new material storage. Work with Operations to record scrap not captured by SAP and investigate material shortages. Assist with year-end physical inventory process for Finance and Operations. Training operations on the proper use of scanners and assist with error correction. Perform analysis of slow or non-moving inventory.
