Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the software development industry for a Software Developer position, based in Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will be working on various tasks related to Python programming, including web development, automation, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scripts and tools using Python, ensuring the code is clean, efficient, and well-documented.

• Identify and rectify bugs in the code to ensure smooth operation of the software.

• Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib for data analysis and visualization.

• Design and build web applications using frameworks like Django or Flask.

• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks in data processing or system administration.

• Integrate Python applications with various systems and services, including databases, APIs, and third-party software.

• Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and stakeholders to plan, develop, and execute software projects.

• Stay updated with the latest Python developments, libraries, and best practices to adapt and learn continuously. Requirements • Proficient in Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking

• Demonstrated experience in Backend Development

• Familiarity with Bug Tracking to ensure software functionality

• Proficiency in C++ programming language

• Experience with GitHub for version control

• Knowledge of AB Testing to optimize user experience

• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology for project management

• Proficient in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications

• Experience in API Development for software integration

• Proficiency in ASP.NET for building server-side web application code

• Extensive knowledge of Python programming language

• Experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas and NumPy

• Proficiency in data visualization with Matplotlib

• Demonstrated experience with Django for web development
