Trinity Health Regional RN Nurse Manager - Virtual Connected Care in Hartford, Connecticut

Description:

Position Purpose: The Nurse Manager for Centralized Virtual Monitoring will oversee the Virtual Monitoring Hub and Virtual RN Team, ensuring 24-hour accountability and effective implementation of the virtual safety attendant process across multiple regions. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and improving patient outcomes through continuous program evaluation.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage the Virtual Monitoring (Virtual Connected Care) and Virtual RN Hub, ensuring high-quality patient/family-centered care.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and clinical leaders to identify and achieve program goals.

  • Recruit, interview, and select qualified staff in collaboration with Human Resources.

  • Develop and implement process improvement projects to enhance workflow and outcomes.

  • Manage the department’s budget, monitor financial performance, and develop business plans for operational changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s in Nursing Administration/Health System Leadership preferred.

  • Current registered nurse license in good standing from the state of Connecticut.

  • Eight years of floor nursing experience and two years of managerial experience.
