Job Title: Sr. Product Manager - EV Charging

Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager for EV Charging to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Team in West Hartford, CT. This role involves leading strategic planning and execution for our EV Charging product line, including new product development, updates, operational management, and go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will approach the EV market strategically, providing recommendations for long-term growth and competitive success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a long-term product roadmap for EV charging, including charger development, software partnerships, and site infrastructure/support items.

  • Execute the roadmap in collaboration with internal teams such as engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing.

  • Partner with the Director of EV Sales/Business Development to create a clear and actionable go-to-market strategy.

  • Engage with the sales team to educate and drive growth.

  • Engage directly with customers and partners to understand their needs and concerns, translating feedback into innovative product solutions.

  • Support product development initiatives through field visits, customer meetings, and feature recommendations to ensure a constant flow of new products and enhancements.

  • Analyze the competitive landscape and identify trends, developing competitive cross-references and serving as a resource for related questions.

  • Collaborate with the marketing communications team on awareness-driving efforts and support tools for existing lines, identifying necessary tools based on strong customer VOC.

  • Manage existing products through all phases of their lifecycle, leading forecasting efforts and working with operations and quality teams to handle any arising issues.

  • Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Product Management

  • Product Marketing with the ability to build a roadmap

  • Experience in the electric vehicle charging industry, with commercial experience highly preferred

Work Environment

The role is based in West Hartford, CT, and involves working closely with sales leadership, operations, support, and engineering teams. The work environment promotes collaboration and open communication, ensuring cohesiveness among team members and business partners. The position requires strong computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software, email, and meeting management software. This is a hybrid position with onsite work from Tuesday-Thursday. If you are out of state, travel will be provided and expenses for Tuesday-Thursday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00

  • 3 weeks of PTO – negotiable - 9 National holidays- 401K - they match +1% - takes place after 6 months with the company.- HSA account – health savings account- Relocation assistance will be offered if needed.

This is a hybrid position in Hartford,CT.
