Accenture Manufacturing Engineering Analyst (Onsite Mobile, AL) in Hartford, Connecticut

Qualified applicants must be available to work onsite daily in Mobile, AL upon joining

You are:

Someone who loves to be involved in large scale manufacturing, producing aircraft better, faster and more cost effectively. You enjoy investigating and solving complex problems that drive real, measurable improvement. You are innovative, curious and collaborative.

  • You create Routings based on technical drawings as well as the corresponding parts list

  • Reading and understanding of technical drawings incl. surface protection and dimensions are part of your tasks

  • You are responsible for the detailed process description in individual operations including test plans (Control Plan)

  • Creation of Standard Operation Instruction (SOI) with pictures and detailed process description

  • You coordinate with the Manufacturing Engineer responsible for the Routings and SOIs for validation

  • You contribute your own ideas and contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes

  • You conduct time studies, or observations on the shopfloor in regard to value added, no value added times, work order times, etc.

Here’s what you need:

  • 2+ years’ professional experience in manufacturing or production with coordination tasks

  • 2+ years’ experience with advanced functions of MS Office and Google Suite applications

  • 1+ years’ Lean Production experience

Bonus Points if:

  • Experience aerospace structural assembly, equipment and/or final assembly line

  • A degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or similar, or you have successfully completed further training as a technician with a focus on aviation or aircraft technology.

  • Have conducted time studies, and or observations

  • You are characterized by a strong hands-on mentality and have high solution orientation

  • You pride yourself on being a do-er, and capable of moving things forward without detailed instructions

  • You are interested and capable of explaining and supporting your work to various production stakeholders such as quality, and or engineering

  • You are performance driven, and flexible to take ownership of various ramp up challenges

  • German/French language skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
