With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. _Position Summary:_ The Administrator is responsible for the performance of the center’s business and operations. This includes the provision of high quality of care, building and sustaining a culture of safety as evidenced by zero harm. The administrator will assure that the center receives top decile patient experience scores. The Administrator will accomplish the above through leading and collaborating with all staff, the members of the Medical Executive Committee, Governing Board and Partners.* * _Position Responsibilities:_ Key Areas of Responsibility Effectively drives and sustains a zero patient harm culture Maintains center operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and accrediting body standards at all times Assures the delivery of high-quality care that addresses the quadruple aim (improve; 1.) Healthcare population, 2.) Improving the patient experience, 3.) Reducing costs, 4.) Improving care team well- being Proactively collaborates with physicians to meet patient needs and exceed patient expectations Owns and is accountable for organic top-line growth via increased volume, strategic service line growth, new physician recruitment, and increasing volume from existing physicians Initiates, develops and maintains strong physician relationships to support top-line growth, governance, board/partnership interests, and trust/confidence in SCA as a preferred partner and management company Leads, mentors, and develops a team of clinical and business professionals, focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies, supply chain management, and revenue cycle optimization consistent with center’s mission, vision and values Emotional maturity and ability to create change in an environment where the structure may evolve rapidly Serves as on-site personnel director and ensures fair and prompt resolution of teammate complaints, grievances and operating problems Works as a member of the front desk staff as needed Perform other related duties as required Responsible for the center’s P&L, including managing financial controls and reporting Implements and maintains annual strategic business plans that best serves the partnership and the local market dynamics Ensures efficient business office operations. Provide support including (but not limited to): Medical Records, Credentialing, Admissions/Intake, Accounts Payable, Billing, Collections, Insurance Verification, Transaction, Posting, Clinical Logs and other duties as needed Safeguards the Center's assets and ensures that Center's building and/or tenant improvements and equipment are maintained in good working order and in compliance with local, state and federal regulations Facility management, life safety codes and environment of care requirements and is proactive in managing the facility operations. _Working Relationships:_ This Job Reports To (Job Title):Kyle Hunchak (Director, Partnership Integration)… but formally this position will report to the LHSC Board of Directors* *Job Title(s) of HHC positions reporting to this Job: No HHC positions… the staff of LHSC (an HHC joint venture) will report to this position Number- Direct Reports:2-5 site leads (nursing director, finance manager, front desk lead, etc) Number-Indirect Reports:Varies* *If applicable, describe nature of supervision of any External vendors, contractors, affiliate organizations, etc. LHSC is a joint venture of HHC. This position would support this organization. Education · Minimum:Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) · Preferred: Master’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) Experience · Minimum: o Experience demonstrating a high-level ability to effectively manage and allocate organization resources o Demonstratable leadership ability, relentless follow through, effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and proven ability to interact well with physicians and surgeons · Preferred: o Background in ambulatory or outpatient surgery strongly preferred o 3-5 years of experience as an administrator in outpatient surgery setting, practice, or hospital setting o Operational management experience such as budgeting, financial management, clinical services management credentialing, accreditation, or similar o Clinical background Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements * · Ability to prioritize, function efficiently and responsibly in emergency situations · Able to manage the business needs of the center, excellent communicator and able to work with multiple teams to accomplish the strategic vision · Able to lift and move 50 pounds, able to stand and sit for 2-hour durations *_We take great care of careers.___ With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
