When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require, they turn to us. *Job Summary: This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing recruiting, interviewing and collecting data on Orthopedic patient studies in collaboration with department leaders and principal investigators. Reports to the Bone & Joint Institute Clinical Trial Unit Leader/Supervisor. Job Responsibilities: * Responsible for accurate and timely source documents, data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting including timely response to sponsor queries. * Responsible for compiling and reporting on each study including information related to protocol activity, accrual data, workload, and other research information; present this information at regular research staff meetings. * Responsible for identifying and reporting events (i.e. adverse events, serious events, non-compliance, deviations/violations) to the institutional review board (IRB) and other responsible bodies. * Promotes research integrity and quality by facilitating chart reviews, participating in audit preparations and performing quality checks. This is an onsite position. Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate science discipline such as biology, psychology, etc. On a case by case basis, Associate's Degree may be considered with significant years of research experience.
