With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. _Position Summary:_ Responsible for working with clinical supply teams across Hartford Healthcare to ensure that the strategic vision of the organization is supported through data and evidence-based evaluation of cost containment, utilization, standardization and contract compliance opportunities. Works closely with clinical and non-clinical leaders to develop sound business case by integrating multiple sources of data (cost & clinical). Serves as a subject matter expert to promote and educate the organization on cost containment opportunities using strong problem-solving skills to identify potential initiatives and best practices to improve quality and cost outcomes. Trends, maintains, and/or improves the service line's supply expense key performance indicators that are based on benchmarks and assist in developing initiative launch packages inclusive of product cross-walks, training/education, and in-service documentation as appropriate.* *_Position Responsibilities:_ Key Areas of Responsibility 1. Provides comparative and financial analytics for new item or converted item requests in Lumere which will contribute to overall cost savings targets 2. Participates and presents supporting analytics for recommendations in Clinical Care Redesign meetings with clinical leaders and physicians 3. Provides contract pricing analysis to increase pricing accuracy that will improve cash flow and turnaround time of payments. 4. Provides analysis and data to support Supply Chain Management leader’s presentations for executive meetings. 5. Designs and manages monthly performance and KPI reports to executive leaders and clinical leaders 6. Contributes to special project work with analytics pertaining to cost savings opportunities 7. Performs testing for upgrades in Supply Chain Management ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and other system modules. 8. Performs other duties as assigned _Working Relationships_ Job Title of Individual(s) Reports To: Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Manager Education · Minimum: Bachelor’s Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience · Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field Experience · Minimum: o Three years’ experience with data validation methodologies, advanced use of Excel. o Any other supplier software knowledge necessary · Preferred: Three- five years’ experience with SQL or ERP database query. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: · Demonstration of financial and business acumen · Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills; strong listening skills · Sound knowledge of data management systems and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) · Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and other MS Office Applications · Sound knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) frameworks · Experience in data analysis and data interpretation · Ability to present data and information with graphical/visual dashboards _We take great care of careers._ With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
