We’re looking for an experienced and passionate healthcare content and marketing writer to lead our team of B2B writers. The right candidate will be a player/coach who will embrace our brand voice and elevate the impact of B2B content — from sales materials to digital content — across the organization. This role will have exposure across a vast portfolio of work across the Pharmacy Services Segment (PSS).
Your success will hinge on your ability to collaborate and communicate with many stakeholders, including marketing strategists, designers, delivery managers, and external agencies. You should also have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to stay on top of multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Expert ability to translate and distill complex information to into simple, easy to understand communications.
Expert writing, editorial and proof-reading skills.
HYBRID ROLE: It will be onsite at one of our Corporate Hubs (Wellesley, MA; Woonsocket, RI; Hartford, CT; New York, NY; Chicago, IL) 3 days a week/Tuesday - Friday.
Required Qualifications
7 + years of experience in B2B communications (health care experience a plus), and/or journalism or corporate communications. Must have superb writing and editing skills, with the ability to follow the corporate style guide
3+ years of experience managing a team of writers
3+ years of experience navigating and using project management tools (WorkFront experience preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to excel, adapt, and be highly productive in a fast-paced environment
Copywriting skills with strong attention to detail; skilled at copy editing, grammar, and spelling
Ability to work with complex clinical, analytic, or operational materials to create audience-appropriate content with a relatable, human tone.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Must have proven skill in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Ability to identify, create and implement team member growth and development tactics
Education
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field or equivalent (HS Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience) required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $199,144.80
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
