KCI Technologies is seeking an experienced Site/Civil Engineer or Landscape Architect with experience in land development engineering design, regulatory/permitting process, and project management to join our team in State College, PA. Responsible for managing a team of engineers, landscape architects, and designers to develop civil engineering designs for both public and private sector clients, including commercial, mixed-use retail, office, and more. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from the preliminary design visit and conceptual plans to zoning/planning coordination, permit documentation, and construction level design plans. Partner with the Practice Leader to expand our workload by building and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients. Other responsibilities include preparing project reports and submittals, completing site visits as necessary, and working with the Project Assistant on project setup, billing, and closeout Responsible for creating accurate fee proposals, overseeing the project team, and ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budge As a mentor and trainer, you will also be responsible for training and guiding staff to ensure project success. Performing fieldwork to gather existing conditions information and perform construction inspections as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 - 12 years of professional experience. Appropriate professional certification preferred. Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
