Apply now and unlock a world of possibilities waiting for you!   DESCRIPTION OF WORK The position will serve as manager of outreach and engagement-related efforts of Pennsylvania's Office of Outdoor Recreation. This position will lead design and creation of content for and coordinate implementation of diversified outreach efforts in collaboration with agency communication staff including, but not limited to, print, social, and photo/video media; presentations, speeches, and talking points; promotional and educational materials; both general public and targeted outreach campaigns.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Will be required to attend events and meetings and that extend beyond normal shift hours. Position will be required to travel throughout PA to attend events and meetings. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time on an ad-hoc basis. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

You must be able to perform essential job functions. This particular position also requires the following: Three or more years of full-time experience creating and using stakeholder/customer network systems to manage stakeholder relationships and communications. Three or more years of full-time experience developing and implementing digital communications plans and programs to engage stakeholders/customers. Three or more years of full-time experience planning, marketing, coordinating, and/or producing events including conferences, workshops, press conferences, and/or group outdoor outings.
