As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will lead presales functional support, ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll act as a subject matter expert (SME), tackle large or complex sales opportunities, and develop productivity tools to streamline demonstration preparation. Additionally, you'll deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations and advise clients on comprehensive architectural solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of designated product areas, including competitive offerings, all product-enabled solutions, a portfolio of implementation case studies, and future product development.

• Execute all pre-sales activities to drive sales.

• Respond to RFI/RFPs, conduct discovery, and deliver tailored demonstrations to strategic customers and prospects.

• Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate the sales cycle.

• Stay informed about relevant competitive products (e.g., Ellucian, Campus Management, Jenzabar, Workday, Unit 4, SAP, etc.).

• Understand customer needs and challenges and link them to Oracle's applications and solutions.

• Demonstrate leadership and superior presentation skills in a multicultural environment.

• Contribute to developing and maintaining product-specific value propositions.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Development, Strategy, and Partners.

• Contribute to achieving product/business unit targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Student Information Systems for Higher Education.

• Proven ability to contribute individually and as part of a team, providing direction and mentoring to others.

• Comprehensive understanding of pre-term processing, curriculum

• Demonstrated project management and leadership abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.

• Strong persuasion skills through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university; an advanced degree is highly desirable.

• At least 3 years of experience in application pre-sales or implementing solutions such as Oracle Campus Solutions, Ellucian Banner, SAP, Campus Management, Jenzabar, Workday, or Unit 4.

• Self-motivated, productive, and capable of working independently in a virtual environment.

• Ability to work under pressure with strong leadership skills.

• Strong executive presence and presentation abilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% (post-pandemic).

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $30.29 to $76.49 per hour; from $63,000 to $159,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
