Brown-Forman National Account Manager - Total Wine and More in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Meaningful Work From Day One This unique opportunity allows you to lead the Total Wine & More account, working with some of the world’s most iconic and premium spirit and wine brands. You will be responsible for overall account strategy, driving Joint Business Planning, and aligning Brown-Forman plans with key customer strategies and goals. You will develop national customer plans, implement key initiatives, and partner with Field & Execution teams to ensure category and brand growth. Additionally, you will manage account budgets, review data to convert insights into actionable plans, and collaborate with distributor teams on pricing, programming, and new-item launches. What You Can Expect

Customer Management

  • Direct overall account strategy for Total Wine & More.

  • Lead communication, collaboration, and coordination of account resources.

  • Drive Joint Business Planning and Brown-Forman Portfolio Pricing plans with Buying Teams.

  • Align Brown-Forman plans with key customer strategies and goals.

  • Develop national customer plans and presentations; ensure achievement of all relevant goals.

  • Implement key customer initiatives both nationally and regionally.

  • Conduct Regional Buyer meetings to communicate national strategy and recommend retailer opportunities.

  • Partner with Field & Execution teams to ensure plans, tools, and measurements are in place to drive category and brand growth.

Planning and Analysis

  • Position Brown-Forman as the “supplier of choice” by identifying customized marketing initiatives that enhance both Brown-Forman brand strategy and customer profitability targets.

  • Engage Regional Off-Premise Managers in executing and complying with national/regional customer programs.

  • Lead an Analyst in establishing programming metrics, completing post-program analysis, and providing support documents for customer meetings.

  • Conduct national customer performance reviews in line with customer planning.

  • Manage account budgets and focus resources on national and key regional opportunities.

  • Review relevant data with the customer marketing manager and analysts to convert insights into actionable plans for key presentations.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Partner with distributor teams to develop annual operating plans, business routines, and execution expectations. Collaborate on pricing, programming, new-item launches, in-stock tracking, and other key initiatives.

  • Provide annual customer overview for brand teams.

  • Provide monthly account updates to key stakeholders (Brown-Forman, Distributor, and Account).

  • Communicate pricing expectations to customers and brands.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5-7 years sales in the beverage or CPG industry; or 13+years of sales experience in the beverage or CPG industry.

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams and channels.

  • Demonstrated financial acumen, including experience in creating, managing, and analyzing budgets and business performance.

  • A collaborative team player who prioritizes the overall success of Brown-Forman and actively seeks opportunities to work with leaders across channels and territories.

  • Excellent strategic and tactical skills, with the ability to implement and adapt national programs to local execution.

  • A positive attitude and a growth-oriented mindset, focused on driving business success.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability and willingness to travel over 50% of the time, including some weekends.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
