DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enhancing Training Programs : By supporting the facilitation, planning, design, delivery, and implementation of training programs, you’ll ensure they are effective and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaborating with Vendors : Working with vendors and educational organizations will help bring in diverse and high-quality training resources, enhancing the overall learning experience.

  • Creating Instructional Content : Your input in developing instructional materials like guides, presentations, and job aids will ensure they meet corporate standards and effectively support learning.

  • Conducting Needs Analysis : Assisting with needs, audience, and task analysis will help identify gaps and tailor training solutions to meet specific needs.

  • Evaluating Training Programs : Conducting external research and evaluating available programs will ensure the organization invests in the most beneficial training options.

  • Managing Learning Activities : Planning and administering various learning activities, including e-learning and instructor-led events, will ensure smooth and efficient training operations.

  • Tracking Progress : Maintaining records and reports on training progress will provide valuable insights for continuous improvement and program revisions.

  • Supporting Colleagues : Acting as a resource for less experienced colleagues and effectively managing stakeholder relationships will foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Global Perspective : Approach issues with a broad, global view, considering diverse perspectives and practices to create inclusive and effective training programs.

  • Data Analytics : Discover, interpret, and communicate both qualitative and quantitative data to draw meaningful conclusions. Use statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to extract insights that drive data-driven decisions.

  • Human Resources Data Management : Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of people data with company policies and legislative requirements, supporting informed decision-making.

  • Instructional Design and Effectiveness : Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate instructional content using established methodologies and technologies. Measure success indicators to validate the effectiveness of training content against learning objectives.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Preferred to have significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

The job includes not only Training the warehouse team, but also leading some Operations Excellence work on the site. Ideal candidate would have some experience working in a warehouse environment and have been exposed to some Lean training (knowing tools such as 5S, Team Based Work System, Standard Work, Layered Process Audit, Value Stream Mapping). Some project management experience might help as well.
