Position Overview

The Loan Servicing Imaging Processor is responsible for scanning, indexing, and maintaining electronic Commercial, Residential, Consumer, and Small Business Administration (SBA) loan files and related documents.  This individual ensures that all documents are properly prepared, scanned, indexed, and stored in the bank's electronic document management system in an accurate and timely manner. The Loan Servicing Imaging Processor will conduct regular quality control checks to ensure scanned images are clear, accurately indexed, and meet all required standards.   

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares, scans, and organizes loan files and related documents in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Catalogs all new loan files for proper identification and filing with storage vendor.
  • Monitors the electronic ticket system for document and filing requests.
  • Retrieves or orders physical loan files when requests are received.
  • Copies requests for loan documents.
  • Manages retention of designated documents and loan files. 
  • Maintains accurate tracking of all loan files.
  • Prepares and processes requests in accordance with applicable procedures and policies to ensure compliant collateral perfection.
  • Conducts regular quality checks to ensure scanned images are clear, complete, and correctly indexed. 
  • Identifies and corrects errors or discrepancies as needed to maintain quality of data management process.
  • Assists with mail and email deliveries.
  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. 
  • Responds to inquiries relating to his/her area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
  • Answers customer telephone calls and handles communications (written and verbal) with customers and other parties.

Ancillary Duties

  • Performs tasks, which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Education & Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one (1) year related experience required.

Skill(s)

Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; moderate interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate typing and PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word; loan processing; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 20 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills.
