As an Insurance Company Financial Analyst Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn various operational and technical components of financial analysis. Communication skills are key in this position as you will be engaging in effective working relationships and working collaboratively in groups. While attending training sessions, you will be extracting pertinent information to apply to everyday tasks. Work includes assisting with the review and analysis of financial, transactional, and operational records, required filings, and other related items including but not limited to, biographical affidavits, financial examination reports, and business plans. You will have the opportunity to learn the importance of analyzing reported financial results and identifying key financial risks in the ongoing solvency monitoring process. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Work schedule may be flexible. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree in insurance, accounting, finance, economics, business administration, risk-management, or a closely related field, which includes 15 college credits in accounting, finance, or auditing; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 15 college credits in accounting, finance, or auditing. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
