S u mm a r y / Objective

T h e R oo f M aintenance Inspector e x amines current client roofing systems and identifies p ote n t ial issues t h at c an result in job o rders for repairs o r r e p lacements.

  • Assist in m aintaining a m o n t h ly/yearly r oo f inspection list.

  • Interacts w ith co-workers a n d d irectly w ith customers t o s chedule assigned roof inspections p e r customer r e qu e sts and b y customer o r d e p artment d e adlines.

  • Examines all a spects o f installed roofing systems (seams, s o u rces o f leakage, integrity o f m aterials, et c.) t o identify w h at, if any, p r o b lems are p resent.

  • P h o t o g raphs t h e r oo f and s p e cific issues, no te s p roblems and g e n e rates r oo f d rawings.

  • Consults w ith Account M anagers as n e cessary t o answer qu e stions about m aterials, p rocesses and p r o fitable p r icing.

  • Imports inspection information, n ote s and s o lutions t o found issues in a report and forwards t h e r e p o r t t o t h e appropriate A ccount M anager for b id p reparation b y d e adlines.

  • Collaborates w ith o n -site c rew and/or Superintendents w h e n alternative/improved repairs are suggested.

  • Be available o n -site o r v ia p h o n e t o answer q u e stions f rom roof m aintenance crews and/or Superintendent.

  • Identifies ot h e r i ssues t h at m ay fall o u t side o f t h e R oo f M aintenance De p artment and communicates t h e s e t o t h e appropriate d e p artment w ithin H o u ck.
