Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Guest Relations/Concierge | Associate's Degree Required in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Guest Relations/Concierge (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday) Full-Time Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of an associate degree required.

    Experience:

  • Prior experience in admissions within healthcare facilities is preferred.

  • Proficiency in typing is required.

    Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Admissions team to assign rooms and prepare for resident admissions.

  • As a Concierge, you will establish a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere.

  • Provide orientation to new residents and their families, ensuring they are well-acquainted with the facility.

  • Act as the primary contact to facilitate transitions, address inquiries, and resolve issues.

  • Conduct routine visits with new residents during their initial week to ensure a seamless integration.

  • Notify the internal team of new arrivals and complete admissions documentation.

  • Schedule and coordinate baseline care plan meetings involving new residents, their families, and staff.

  • Administer admission and discharge surveys to gather feedback and improve services.

  • Perform morning rounds to ensure rooms are ready for incoming admissions.

  • Conduct and coordinate facility tours for prospective residents and their families.

  • Ensure the facility is always prepared for tours; report any concerns to the Administrator or relevant departments.

  • Welcome residents returning from the hospital with personalized signs.

  • Provide departing residents with a discharge gift and send well wishes or sympathy cards as appropriate.

  • Generate reports related to referrals, vacancies, and census metrics as required.

  • Answer incoming calls promptly: Courteously address inquiries from prospective and current residents with the utmost professionalism.

  • Maintain a high level of phone etiquette, ensuring a positive and helpful experience for all callers.

  • Use phone interactions to actively promote resident satisfaction and address concerns.
