DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will offer office support to various sectors, including the medical field, legal professionals, legislative bodies, couriers, examination facilities, and transportation personnel. Your responsibilities will include evaluating all incoming medical documentation from healthcare providers, law enforcement agencies, and the public. You will assess the information against our regulations and statutes, making independent decisions regarding the necessary actions to be taken.
You will utilize a PC-based imaging system to process medical reports, creating individual cases for each driver. Each report may necessitate medical research, which will be conducted through online resources and other information channels. Additionally, you will maintain correspondence for each driver with an active record using word processing software. You will also review and process all returned medical forms, making decisions in accordance with established policies and the interpretation of relevant regulations and statutes. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. This role will necessitate working on Saturdays on a rotating basis. May be required to work when a full-day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized. To include but not limited to: early dismissals for inclement weather; the day before holidays; special holiday closings. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements: This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
