DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will perform a wide variety of clerical responsibilities all contributing to the successful function of the Farm Show, Show Management Office. Duties include producing correspondence such as letters and reports, assisting in bulk mailings, preparing invoices, data entry and organization of various filing systems, and responding to public inquiries regarding the Complex and event schedule.

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 5 days a pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $34,621 annually (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
