DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position the Clerical Assistant 2 will be responsible for the examination and data entry of temporary tag applications received from the public or through the mail process.  The employee must determine if the required fee and documents have been received, select and pack temporary tag orders for counter customers, and provide clerical support services to the entire dealer unit.

Duties include processing returns, credits, and refunds for temporary tags that have been returned by Agents, then transfer them to various PENNDOT issuing locations.  The incumbent will manage, monitor, adjust and replenish temporary tag inventory at various PENNDOT issuing locations using the Centric inventory system along with DAS.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 80 hours per pay period. Work hours are 6:45am to 3:15pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,929 annually (before taxes). Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
