DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 2 in the Online Registration Program's Quality Control Audit Unit, you will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and examining Online Motor Vehicle Titling and Registration transactions processed by PennDOT's Online Agents/Business Partners. In this position you will perform quality control audits of Titling and Registration transactions, review processed paperwork submitted for accuracy, and document any error(s) identified in the "Quality Control Audit" Excel Spreadsheet.  Types of transactions analyzed and reviewed would include (but are not limited to): Title and Registration Transactions, Change of Owner or Change/Delete/Add lessee, Lien Holder Maintenance, Transfer Registration, Reissue Registration Materials, Vehicle Information Sales, Vehicle Registration Renewals, In-transit Tag (ITT) Transactions, etc.  All audit review is paperless and completed by reviewing scanned images within the EDMS system.

Utilizing a personal computer, you will enter required information from Agency forms into CARATS system to ensure proper issuance of: Certificates of Title, Registration Plates, Registration Cards, Weight Decals, Driver's Licenses and Sales Tax Receipts. Utilize a personal computer to enter audit information into the Quality Control Audit Excel Spreadsheet.  The employee in this position must have complete knowledge and understanding of the policies and procedures within the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 80 hours per pay period. Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,929 annually (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
