DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Clerical Assistant 2 serves in the Information Technology Services (ITS) office of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). This position is responsible for providing support for bureau management in a variety of data entry, tracking, and verification activities of Information Technology (IT) resources. This position serves as the point of contact to the Purchasing and Contract Administration division, and requisitioner for IT procurement activities including contracts, equipment purchases, renewals, and training.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework), part-time with two days a month in the office after training is over. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.  Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
