JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Harrisburg's School of Business Administration invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Accounting in its AACSB-accredited program to start Fall 2023 or when agreed upon.

Job Responsibilities:

The primary teaching area is Auditing, and Financial is a preferred secondary area

Part of the teaching load will involve online course delivery

Typical Education & Experience:

A doctorate in Accounting, Business Administration

Or a closely related field with an emphasis on accounting is required

ABDs completing their doctorate by the appointment/start date will be considered

Faculty members are expected to pursue active research and teach 3/2 load the first two years, then 3/3 load thereafter

Faculty are expected to maintain a high level of professional activity through teaching, scholarly publication, and service

Compensation is AACSB competitive
