We are currently seeking an individual like yourself to take on the role of managing the department's Leadership Development Program. In this position, you will be responsible for recommending, developing, and implementing leadership development programs under the guidance of the Employee Development Division Manager. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As our Administrative Officer 3, you will be responsible for the implementation of employee development programs focused on leadership development for a diverse group of approximately 1,600 salaried and wage employees across various job titles. This includes collaborating with facilitators to create and execute the department's leadership development program, as well as formulating policies and recommendations for leadership development initiatives. Additionally, the position involves providing input on budget allocations, identifying agency-specific leadership development needs, and designing programs to address those needs. The role also involves analyzing new opportunities for leadership initiatives and collaborating with external entities when necessary. Furthermore, the position manages the leadership podcast series, working closely with the multi-media development specialist to plan monthly themes, curate relevant content, and facilitate group and breakout sessions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week, during the initial training period. After the initial training period, there would be the opportunity to work from home part-time 4 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Criteria (not required): One or more years of total professional Leadership Development experience. One or more years of experience identifying leadership gaps in a large organization (of over 100 people or higher). One or more years of experience leading programs that require different methods of intervention, different resources, and different tools for measurement. How to Apply:
