Reference #: 4369660 THE POSITION The Department of Revenue is seeking a motivated professional for the position of Administrative Officer 3 to act as manager of the Inheritance Tax Customer Service Division. This position is responsible for directing the operations of the Inheritance Tax Customer Services Division's offices located throughout Pennsylvania. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role you will plan, organize, and direct customer service operations for the Customer Experience Center. You will help resolve operational issues to assist in maintaining bureau performance in order to meet goals and objectives.

The Manager is responsible for exercising broad supervision over technical and clerical personnel. Work includes reviewing and approving complex and unusual assignments and documents. This position reviews collection cases through the PaTH system, oversees and assigns collections as well as developing training on collection system, reviews and analyzes various local and departmental procedures, and recommends changes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Worksite location will be based upon the location of the selected candidate. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Criteria (not required): One year of general supervisory experience. Two years of experience working with PA tax laws, policies, and procedures. Experience with public speaking, communications, or facilitating training.
