This role is responsible for overseeing the administrative tasks associated with permit applications submitted under the Streamlining Permits Economic Expansion and Development (SPEED) Program for the Bureau of Waterways Wetlands and Engineering (BWEW). The individual will be tasked with maintaining a secure, publicly accessible tracking system that monitors key aspects such as application submission dates, technical evaluations, priority assessments, and final permit outcomes. Coordination of these reviews with program personnel will be conducted as needed to ensure smooth operations.

In addition to managing the application and permit review processes related to SPEED, this position also provides essential administrative, technical, and clerical support functions for BWEW.

The incumbent will ensure that all activities related to the application process adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements, while also guaranteeing that submissions are complete and processed in a timely manner. Furthermore, this role includes oversight of the financial aspects associated with SPEED, including the management of costs, fees, payment processing, and refund procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours/week Work hours are flexible between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. This position may require occasional travel.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
