Randstad is assisting an E-commerce Distributor located in Harrisburg with an Accounts Payable position. Contract to hire. Around two years' experience is preferred with basic Excel skills. Flexible start and end time. Can start as early as 6:00 am. Small accounting team. 100% in office. Send resumes to dena.clare@randstadusa.com for immediate consideration.

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Compare invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation to ensure accurate payments and recording of inventory

  • Identify and resolve billing issues with vendors

  • Track and communicate inventory discrepancies and shortages to the appropriate internal departments

  • Enter invoices into the Accounts Payable system

  • Assist with processing check runs

  • Document processes and procedures to establish reference documentation.

  • Identify and assist with the implementation of improved processes and procedures

Additional Requirements:

  • Education: Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience: 2 years of experience

  • Specific Skills: Interpersonal skills, independent work skills, detail oriented, and computer knowledge are required.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook and Sage a plus

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as invoice quantity and unit prices, and vendor discounts
