Who are you?
You are an experienced Senior Program Manager with a minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. MEP Project Management expertise is mandatory.
*On-site presence is required 1-2 days a week in NJ. Requirements may change depending on our client's needs.
Job Description
The candidate will be required to provide Construction Program Management Duties within the framework of Turner and Townsend policy and procedures, providing Client Support, Direction, Guidance, and overall caring for the projects and program process.
The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career as a Senior Program Manager working in commercial real estate sector programs on office corporate interiors project including vertical facilities construction, interior rehabilitation, multi-site construction logistics and coordination and have experience running a comprehensive program management office (PMO).
Candidate must demonstrate they are capable of working with and managing multiple stake holders across all construction/design and engineering disciplines (with focus on commercial Mechanical and Electrical trades) including Owner, Design team, General Contractor, Facility Management, Site Planner, Security and IT.
Candidate will work closely with Barclays’ Engineering and Design Engineer to create MEP project SOW and RFP.
Candidate will be responsible for assuring governance and controls are in place across all projects.
Will conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids and proposals with detail and accuracy.
Candidate will interface directly with construction general contractors during construction bidding, award, execution, punch-list and closeout phases.
Candidate will manage and drive cost, schedule, and quality while managing construction contractors and vendors.
Candidate will engage with external stakeholders to assist and facilitate external approvals such as permits and site plan applications.
Qualifications
Demonstrate project experience with the following:
Running commercial real estate programs $10M and above.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
Review owner processes and advise.
Oversee process improvement and integration.
Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope changes.
Understanding of construction coordination for occupied spaces.
Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical trades and equipment operation involved in Critical Cooling and Critical Power Distribution.
Understanding of Owner’s Operations and best practices.
Understanding of Safety Programs (Health, Safety, and Emergency Response).
Completing comprehensive Monthly Reports to client.
Must Have Skills:
MEP Project Management.
Working in commercial real estate occupied buildings.
Coordinating all construction stakeholders.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $145K-$165 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
