Tower is offering a $1000 Signing/Retaining bonus as of 1/20/2024.

Note: All full-time positions include the option of $0 out-of-pocket premium cost for Employee Only PPO AND exceptionally low premiums for all other PPO coverage levels

Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.

Hiring Range - $110,133/yr - $137,666/yr

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Wealth Advisor II (FSCII) is a licensed, credentialed, financial services professional responsible for the relationship management activities of a designated member base.

In this role, the FSCII will serve as the relationship manager, coordinating all department related activities on behalf of the member. The position assures that professional, unbiased and objective financial planning and investment management solutions are coordinated/implemented, based upon the member's specific goals and objectives. The FSCII will serve as the financial services expert, providing advice and recommendations across all product and service lines.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as the primary point-of-contact and/or relationship manager for a designated member base, while servicing the financial needs of credit union members utilizing a needs-based approach in providing personal financial solutions.

  • Provides relationship management expertise focusing upon the extensive commitment to member service, product and/or service delivery implementation, ensuring member satisfaction with periodic reviews and consultations.

  • Assists members in identifying their financial goals and objectives through in-person or telephone consultations, with subsequent recommendations of appropriate products/services that are consistent with the member's short and long-term financial goals.

  • Research, present and implement a variety of financial planning solutions, possibly in lieu of a comprehensive financial plan, which are consistent with the member's financial goals.

  • Demonstrate persuasive seminar techniques and presentation skills on a variety of financial planning topics.

  • Maintain all industry licensing/continuing education requirements while monitoring Federal, State, Industry and Credit Union regulations to ensure compliance of operations

  • Responsible for cross-selling initiatives, which include all credit union and key third-party business partners, products/services.

  • Monitor operations to ensure compliance with guidelines/procedures to secure the confidentiality of member/credit union information.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Seven+ years of financial services industry experience, in a client/member relationship management role.

  • Security 7/66 Licenses

  • Life/Health/Variable Licenses

  • CFP Designation preferred

COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to work with complex mathematical concepts.

  • Ability to operate a PC in an internet environment and Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel).

  • Ability to create comprehensive financial plans, write and interpret reports, business correspondence, policies and procedures.

  • Ability to develop solutions for complex problems, with abstract variables in ambiguous or novel situations.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to implement short and long-term initiatives through effective and timely project planning techniques.

  • Ability to prioritize diverse job assignments and meet established deadlines.

  • Ability to resolve controversial or delicate matters skillfully.

  • Ability to motivate and influence others to take action.

  • Has knowledge of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures and all regulations related to the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act and OFAC.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods and demonstrate sufficient dexterity and vision to operate a variety of office equipment.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without assistance.

  • Ability to work the hours needed which may extend beyond the defined work schedule when operating conditions dictate
