Robert Half has partnered with a reputable and growing global corporation in the area to add a Staff Accountant to their North American team! This role will report to a dynamic CFO and Controller who are fantastic mentors to help develop your skill set and continued growth in your career! As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, cash application and cash flow analysis, assisting with financial statement preparation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance. You will also assist with commission calculations and preparing sales & use taxes for our various branches. In addition to a strong compensation and comprehensive benefits package, this position offers great long-term potential! We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the continued success of our company! If you have plans to get your CPA as well and are currently taking the exam or have parts passed, we are looking for you!

A sample of your responsibilities will include:

• Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

• Supply Balance Sheet and Bank account reconciliations

• Prepare monthly audit workpapers and year-end reporting

• Post cash receipts and related adjustments

• Prepare monthly & quarterly sales & use taxes

• Prepare monthly commission reporting & issue monthly commission payments

• Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or related is required

• 3+ years of accounting experience with general ledger skills (journal entries, account reconciliations, audit workpapers, etc)

• Efficient in Large ERP systems

• Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment

• Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
