Do you have experience in safety training and conducting orientations in front of large groups? We have a company in Hanford looking for a TEMP Safety Coordinator/Trainer. The Safety Coordinator will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a safe and healthy work environment. work hours: 5 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment and re-enforcing safe working practices and procedures

• Provide support and guidance to the Operations and Farm Teams on Safety compliance

• Ensure contractors are in compliance with all safety and equipment work practices

• Maintain and update as needed EHS SOP's

• Contribute to the site Safety Training Plan

• Conduct periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of workplace

• Conduct, monitor, and document Saftey Training

• Conduct and schedule Safety Training and Certifications

• Conduct accident and injury investigations

• Become a certified trainer in designated trainings

• Maintain required safety documents and files

• Conduct plant and field audits

• Assist in maintaining logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements as directed

• Conduct job hazard analysis

• Assist EHS Manager and Safety Specialist in conducting annual refresher training

• Conduct Safety Training and equipment certifications for New Hire Orientations

• Help maintain and manage the EHS Programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Participate in Safety meetings as needed

• Identify Tailgate Topics and communication to the Plant and Farm Supervisors/Managers

• Assist and support Human Resources on Workers' Compensation issues

• Work on special projects as designated
