Lentech, Inc SharePoint Developer in Support of NASA NCAPS in Handover, Maryland

The Opportunity: On June 10, 2024, NASA announced CACI, Inc . as their awardee of the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) contract. Lentech, Inc. will assist CACI, Inc. as a subcontractor on that contract. Work will be supporting the entire NASA enterprise at all NASA Centers and locations, including the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in Alabama, the Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Texas, the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Maryland, and the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. Lentech has an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Developer to support the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platforms Services (NCAPS) contract. Selected candidates will deliver and sustain capabilities in a fast-paced SAFe agile development environment. Work includes collaborating on systems and solutions supporting large portfolios from business, analysis, technical, systems, data, and enterprise functions. As part of the SharePoint development team, you will develop SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, and SharePoint Online portals for the NASA NCAPS program. The SharePoint Developer will implement innovative SharePoint 2013, 2016, and online portal solutions for customers. They will be responsible for activities associated with the development of customized solutions that automate and optimizes process execution on the program, creating training material, documentation, and provide uses with real-time analysis data. Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Public Trust Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% (Type of Travel: Continental US) Job Functions and Responsibilities: Working with customers, users and stakeholders to document business processes and requirements. Designing creative and innovative approaches to building robust SharePoint capabilities that facilitate collaboration and automate and streamline program processes. Developing, documenting and supporting custom and out-of-the-box SharePoint solutions using industry best practices. Translating business processes and requirements into implementable design. Implementing Microsoft SharePoint 2013, 2016, and online web-based solutions. Implementing automated SharePoint workflows to automate manual processes on the program. Providing ongoing maintenance of the SharePoint portal. Responding to escalated service desk tickets; troubleshooting and debugging any issues on the portal. Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass NASA background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to: 3 year check for felony convictions 1 year check for illegal drug use 1 year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Five (5) to Seven (7) years of work experience developing SharePoint portals (Microsoft SharePoint 2013, 2016, and online) and related technologies. Hands-on experience with Web/SharePoint architecture design, Site Branding & Navigation Experience working with published web pages with web parts. Extensive experience defining complex custom lists and working with web-enabled InfoPath forms in SharePoint. Extensive experience writing customized SharePoint workflows Experience building Excel pivot charts and working with Excel Web Access web parts. Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML). Desired: Experience supporting NASA Familiarity with Agile (SAFE) methodology. SharePoint 2013, 2016 applications deployment. SharePoint 2013, 2016 server administration Microsoft Technical Certifications Knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET framework, and Visual Studio (Visual C#, Visual Basic). Experience using Web Services in a SharePoint environment (i.e. connecting to third party web services to retrieve data). Ability to contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing creative solutions, exhibiting resourcefulness. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
