Our client is seeking a CNC Machinist for their manufacturing facility in Hampton, VA,. The ideal candidates will have at least 1-5 years’ experience in the setup and running of various machines. Junior level candidates will also be considered who want to be trained up but who have the basic skills.

Day Shift/Evening Shift Available

Duties:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with others and independently.

• Observe machines on trial runs or conduct simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications.

• Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency.

• Make management aware of any conditions that may affect the efficiency, quality or completion of jobs, and assist in activities within the machine shop.
