JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Quoting Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotes for ventilation systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of ventilation products, technical specifications, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Prepare Technical Quotes:

o Analyze customer requirements and technical specifications to develop accurate quotes for ventilation systems and components.

o Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure quotes meet customer needs and company standards.

o Utilize quoting software and tools to generate detailed and competitive quotes.

Customer Interaction:

o Respond to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability.

o Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the quoting process.

Product Knowledge:

o Maintain a thorough understanding of ventilation products, industry standards, and technical specifications.

o Stay updated on new product developments and technological advancements in the ventilation industry.

o Assist in training sales and support staff in product knowledge and quoting procedures.

o Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate records of all quotes, correspondence, and customer interactions.

o Generate regular reports on quoting activity, conversion rates, and customer feedback.

o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quoting efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, HVAC, or a related field preferred.

• Experience: A technical quoting or similar role, preferably in the ventilation or HVAC industry.

• Technical Skills: Understanding ventilation systems, components, and technical specifications. Proficiency in using quoting software and tools.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to customers and team members.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to analyze customer requirements and develop accurate and competitive quotes.

• Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service and support.
