Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a 1st Shift (5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday with weekends per business need) Blow Mold Maintenance Technician where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This position has a base salary range of $30.00-$40.00/hr . based on skills and experience in addition to a quarterly incentive bonus.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operates machinery that blows mold containers of various sizes and colors.
Monitors the quality of bottles and ensures they meet quality control standards and specifications.
Suggests changes in working methods and use of equipment to increase the department’s efficiency.
Notifies supervisor of any manufacturing problems, as well as analyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving problems in a helpful and timely manner.
Maintains and enforces all safety rules and regulations and maintains good housekeeping in all related areas.
Maintaining blow molding machines, chillers, air compressors, grinders, blenders.
Must be able to hang molds and set up to run.
Must be able to PM the machines.
Must be able to trouble shoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, problems
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or (GED)
2 or more years of Blow Mold Maintenance experience (Required) (Uniloy equipment preferred)
3 or more years of industrial maintenance (Required)
PLC Troubleshooting experience (Preferred)
Working in non-temperature and temperature-controlled environments.
Possibility of working around high noise levels, depending on location
Be able to wear full face respirator as necessary
Must be able to work in accordance with Heal and Safety and GMP regulations.
Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
Physical Requirements
Able to stand for duration of shift up to 12 hours
Comfortable lifting, twisting, crouching, crawling, climbing and carrying up to 50 lbs. unassisted
