We are looking for qualified candidates for our deli manager positions in Caribou and Presque Isle.

The Freshies Deli Manager is responsible for the overall Freshies program at site level through building and coaching a team of employees, that consistently delivers our Customer Promise to: Safely Deliver Fast, Fresh and Friendly Better Than Anyone Else by directing and coordinating all aspects food handling and preparation, ensuring preparation procedures, handling, sanitation and quality meets standards in accordance with Freshies operation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day- to-day to management of staff to include building a team that delivers on customer expectations.
• Responsible to ensure all paperwork is executed and followed per Freshies operation manual, to include but not limited to: inventory counts, spoilage reporting, inventory ordering, production requirements, sales reporting, etc.
• Creates weekly schedules to ensure staffing is built per budgeted hours.
• Responsible for all aspect of customer service to include face to face communication, telephone communication and being able to promptly respond to and make any adjustments from customers as well as reacting to complaints concerning service, food preparation and quality.
• Responsible for ordering all Freshies inventory stock in accordance to guidelines established by Freshies operation program. Accepts deliveries by verifying orders against the receiving invoice and inspection for product quality. Ensures product handling meets Freshies standards to include: labeling, date coding, rotation of stock, all other handling and storage.
• Responsible for training new Deli staff members, communicating proper procedures and expectations to ensure consistency as outlined in Freshies Training Program.
• Completes required monthly inventory counts with using proper documentation and forwarding the results to the Territory Manager per Freshies Operation Manual.
• Compiles daily tracking information via handheld, computer input or paper processing to include: raw spoilage, finished spoilage, sales, labor, etc. as outlined in Freshies Operation Manual
