Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including conveyors, stackers, packaging machines, and ovens. This role involves calculating electrical loads, reading schematics, working with 480V and 3-phase motors, and using testing devices such as amp probes and voltage meters. The ideal candidate will also be adept at changing out and calibrating process sensors, troubleshooting PLCs, and following lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including conveyors, stackers, packaging machines, and ovens

  • Calculate electrical loads and determine the sizing of conductors and switch gear

  • Read electrical schematics and interconnection diagrams

  • Work with 480V and 3-phase motors

  • Use testing devices, including amp probes and voltage meters

  • Change out and calibrate process sensors such as level, pressure, and flow transmitters

  • Troubleshoot PLCs and ancillary equipment

  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures

Essential Skills

  • Experience troubleshooting production equipment such as conveyors, stackers, and packaging equipment

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

  • Experience working with 480V and 3-phase motors

  • Knowledge of using amp probes and voltage meters

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $78852.80 - $78852.80/yr.
