1 OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Warehouse Quality Specialist to join our team in West Chester, OH! OTC is looking for a driven, focused, detail-oriented individual to handle the quality and accuracy operation at the Cincinnati DC. As warehouse quality specialist, this role will be instrumental in ensuring that our warehouse processes, products, and shipments all meet OTC's highest quality standards. What You'll Do: Develop and implement quality control procedures in the warehouse Monitor and evaluate incoming, onsite, and outgoing products and shipments to ensure they meet company expectations Work autonomously Able to manage associate quality errors and provide feedback on the warehouse floor Develop and deliver quality training programs for the staff Manage Daily Cycle Counts and Inventory Accuracy Manage and lead quality inspection activities across the facility Continuously improve, sustain, and optimize quality control processes Analyze quality data and trends to identify area of improvement Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the warehouse Other duties may be assigned. What You'll Need: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). General knowledge of warehouse operations and/or OTC specific operations Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Excellent customer and intercompany relations and problem-solving skills Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Detail oriented, including accurate data entry skills Capable of working independently, as well as a team member Interact with co-workers with a positive attitude to maintain a friendly and productive work environment Familiarity with or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Ability to understand written and oral English and be proficient with computer, email, spreadsheets and look up documents online Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job Ability to work in environments that may include: Moving mechanical parts Fumes or airborne particles Painting chemicals and solvents Electrical equipment Physical Requirements Sit/Stand for prolonged periods at a bench or table Handling and Moving Objects - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Retrieving and / or filing documentation from other departments. Handling - moving, lifting (up to 50 lbs) parts to and from bench or cart.
