MIAMI UNIVERSITY Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor in Hamilton, Ohio

Languages, Literatures & Writing: Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach Professional and/or Technical Writing courses and advise students beginning Fall, 2024. Teaching may include online and face-to-face sections of Workplace Writing, Grant Writing, Technical Writing, Medical Writing, First-Year Composition, Advanced Composition, Exploring Genre, and Integrative Writing in Global Contexts.

Miami University Regionals (MUR) are open admissions campuses with a liberal arts curriculum. We offer associate and bachelor's degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies, as well as pathways to degree programs at Miami University's Oxford campus.

Required: PhD in English or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor. Master's in English or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.

Consideration may be given to candidates with online teaching experience, cultural, and/or intercultural rhetoric, and experience with publishing and editing.
