Your responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Select appropriate tools and fixtures from drawings and work instructions Run CNC Programs written by CNC Programmer Load tooling and fixture to machines Prep and load material into CNC machine Deburr machined products Perform initial part inspection and coordinate with QC department to ensure machined parts conform to requirements Communicate with supervisor, engineering, QC, and other team members for assignments and to resolve process or quality issues Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as needed Your profile Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience with operating CNC machines including turning centers and VMCs in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Mill-turn centers and HMCs a plus Understanding of interpreting engineering drawings, related nomenclature, GD&T, as well as industry specifications and standards High proficiency in general machine shop practices including selection and use of cutting tools and holders, selection and creation of fixtures, feeds and speeds, machine maintenance, etc. Knowledge and application of precision measuring devices Knowledge of threads and classes Must be able to follow written and oral instruction and work independently Experience with shock absorbers and/or suspension products a plus Ability to competently balance multiple, competing demands and schedule accordingly Your benefits with us Beyond the competitive benefits and compensation, thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America proudly offers a rich history, steeped in innovation and a lasting commitment to our customers, employees and communities.
