Need 5 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work on a farm located in Halma, MN. From: 03/07/2024 - 11/30/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day Worker will be paid overtime in accordance with Minnesota Statute 177, specifically 177.25 Subdivision 1 and/or 177.23 Subdivision 7(2). Must apply by: 07/20/2024 JOB DUTIES: Operating large farm equipment and primarily John Deere machinery equipped with GPS such as combine, tractor, no till planter, air seeder, sprayer for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as wheat, soybeans, sugar beets, silage; assessing field conditions and crop maturity for adjusting down pressure of openers and settings of tractors and tillage equipment, setting seed depth at planting; load crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite. Rate of pay may be more depending on years of experience with the employer, or other factors such as job performance, skill, or punctuality. Drug free workplace. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience, Be able to lift up to 75 lbs., Possible post hire random drug test at no cost to worker; testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No minimum education required. Exposure to extreme temperatures, pushing, pulling, extensive walking and sitting and repetitive movements. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
