The Performance Improvement Coordinator works with Agency management/personnel to oversee and/or conduct assigned program focused reviews specific to compliance with licensing and other regulatory requirements, accreditation and contract requirements within the Agency’s Performance Improvement and Risk Management approved procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Participates with program licensing inspections as required, COA site visits, and other assigned third-party audits, and development of corrective action and quality improvement plans as indicated. Coordinates inspections/audits with managers as assigned.

  • Conducts/coordinates with managers assigned program site visits, focused reviews and incident investigations.

  • Coordinates and performs assigned consumer record reviews in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and quality improvement plans for contract and regulatory compliance.

  • Monitors critical incident reports as assigned, safety monitoring inspections, and follow up including assigned internal root cause analysis and failure modes effects analysis to address compliance and procedural update recommendations.

  • Functions as system administrator for Agency’s online learning system.

  • Works with training staff to monitor compliance and training needs for critical and unusual incidents.

  • Tracks required data, analyzes and reports on approved performance indicators.

  • Assists with obtaining data and information as required for Agency improvement activities.

  • Assists with maintaining up to date approved policies and procedures, Agency forms utilizing approved software/network system to track ongoing updates, reviews, and approval systems.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel to extract information from Agency databases including Agency risk management databases, online learning system, and electronic medical record.

  • Participates as Chair and member of assigned committees and teams in Performance Improvement and Safety Committee meetings.

    Position is full time and includes the following:

  • 3.2 weeks of Paid Time Off during the first year

    Education/Experience:

    Master’s Degree required in behavioral health field with 3 plus years’ experience. Must have clinical licensure, such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. Experience supervising preferred as well as performance improvement and risk management functions in behavioral health care settings. Licensure as mental health practitioner required. Experience with regulatory requirements, licensing and contract requirements preferred. Knowledge of electronic health records, online learning system and other required system venders as assigned.
