Robert Half Onboarding Coordinator in Hainesport, New Jersey

Description

Our dynamic client is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to work at their location in South Jersey. The Onboarding Coordinator role will primarily involve managing internal and external job postings, attending job fairs, and conducting pre-employment screenings. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance records, coordinating intern and volunteer initiation, and assisting in benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, revise and publish internal and external job advertisements

  • Locate, register for, and participate in job fairs for community engagement and talent acquisition

  • Administer necessary pre-employment checks and ensure new hires meet all necessary record, training, and credentialing requirements

  • Oversee the implementation and compliance procedures for interns, volunteers, and staffing agency prospects

  • Aid in developing and maintaining interview templates for effective candidate vetting

  • Deliver monthly board reports outlining key data from onboarding processes

  • Plan and execute New Employee Orientation sessions, making improvement recommendations as needed

  • Support benefits management and integrate all new recruits into the HR Database

  • Guarantee the delivery of Initial Performance Reviews, and evaluate completed reviews for thoroughness and adherence to standards

  • Gather and organize data related to recruitment and retention strategies.

    Requirements

The ideal Onboarding Coordinator candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.

Other requirements for the Onboarding Coordinator position include and are not limited to:

  • 2+ years' experience in human resources or recruitment, specifically in onboarding roles, is usually preferred.

  • Highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks at once, and be able to effectively prioritize their work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to help new hires understand company policies and their roles.

  • Familiarity with HR software and systems like HRIS or HRMS is often a requirement. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel is also desirable.

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
