Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the interdisciplinary team in Hagerstown working on complex mechanical systems and structural design.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create and modify 2D and 3D drawings.

• Support engineers with drawing layouts and design modifications.

• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOM).

• Collaborate with the team to design mechanical systems from scratch.

• Ensure designs meet company standards and project requirements.

• Utilize ERP systems for project management and documentation.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in Engineering

• 3 yrs with AS or 1 year with BS in Mechanical Design

• Familiarity with 3D CAD programs (Creo preferred)
