What are we looking for?
The Associate Health & Wellbeing (AH&WB) Effectiveness Lead is responsible for supporting key stakeholders internally (AH&WB team) and externally to design, implement, embed and govern the Mars' health strategy to ensure that we fulfill our commitments.This role will work across the regional AH&WB portfolio of services such as occupational health management, clinical services, population health management, and own wellbeing programming to drive effectiveness in the region.

This role will co-develop, plan, execute, and govern multiple work streams and projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget. Additionally, this role is expected to act as a co-pilot on content, partner with the Senior H&WB Managers on the team as required and think critically (and pro-actively) about how to accelerate and embed the regional health and wellbeing program in the business.

What will be your key responsibilities?
Responsible for the overall delivery of key projects impacting the regional team, keeping all work streams and initiatives on track, and maintaining appropriate sense of urgency and relevance while providing timely updates to key stakeholders.
Build and manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, contractors and suppliers to advance the health and wellbeing agenda
Drives alignment between the global AH&WB strategy and the regional strategy to ensure that the region is executing on the priorities that have been set
Facilitate the project plan development:
Ensure that appropriate priorities are set, and that key initiatives and actions are clearly articulated using good quality project charters, clearly scoped and 'resourced to win' with the right people
Coach or support others in defining and delivering challenging project initiatives, doing a "deep dive" on content of any work stream as needed.
Manage the work streams scope through a standardized way of working to ensure consistent project disciplines are applied to individual initiatives and activities (e.g., clear deliverables and milestones)
Ensure excellent execution
Manage the regional program agenda & activities, coordinate and integrate inputs and outputs, track progress through dashboards and metrics
Co-develop the methodology and target setting exercise for regional priorities and advance project management governance and reporting capabilities.
Ensure appropriate leadership focus and intervention to remain on time and on budget and that risks are recognized and resolved.
Establish governance for processes
Maintain the knowledge capture system through clear and effective documentation to build project management capability across the region
Manage the regional portfolio and ensure the appropriate mitigations are in place to address risks
Represent the regional AH&WB team internally and externally with key stakeholders, industry groups and peer organizations as needed.
Manages the communications specialist responsible for developing and deploying the messaging that drives participation and engagement in advancing the health and wellbeing agenda
Manages the AH&WB Operations Analyst who is responsible for technology operations and enablement of tools designed to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Manage the Leave Management vendor and the internal leaves team responsible for handling escalations
Education & Professional Qualification
Undergraduate degree in business, management or a healthcare discipline is required; Master's degree preferred.
Certification(s): Project Management Professional (PMP) or other project management related certifications a plus
Prior PMO experience required, with demonstrated ability to execute standard project management skills (e.g. developing work plan and tracking milestones, preparing reports, managing a budget etc.)
Must be able to demonstrate a history of driving a regional team to implement a plan and influence critical stakeholders as well as subject matter experts from functions.
Demonstrated history of translating data insights into action
Occupational health and wellbeing experience desirable
Strong analytical and problems solving skills.
